Document the issue while the details are fresh.
A useful complaint identifies the property, date, scope, service provider and the specific outcome you want reviewed.

How to raise a concern.
First contact
Call (202) 555-0182. Give the job address, service date, estimate or invoice reference, the business name shown on that document and a concise description of the issue.
Evidence
Keep the written estimate, photos, messages, receipts and a list of items or areas involved. Do not edit original files.
Requested resolution
State whether you want an explanation, correction, return visit, document or billing review. A complaint does not guarantee a specific result.
Urgent safety or property risk
If there is an immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service or property authority first.
